Possible Popup Blocker
Possible Popup Blocker:
It appears a popup blocker is active. ELO launches its viewers in separate browser windows (up to 5!) allowing to view up to 20 images at a time. Therefore you must enable popups for www.energylibrariesonline.com. You will probably see a popup warning near the top of this browser page. Follow its instructions to Always allow popups for this site. You may have to click the Browser button or link again to bring up the viewer.
If you do not see a popup warning with an option to turn off popups for this site you may have to go into your browser's options to do this. PLEASE NOTE:
Many browser addon toolbars (Google, Yahoo!, etc.) also have popup blockers.
If disabling popups for this site in your browser still does not work check the options of your toolbar addon.
For more help on allowing popups check Help for your browser and/or toolbar addon. If you still have problems please contact the webmaster (click Home, then About/Contact then Contact Us)

Group and Well Points
Depending on how far you are zoomed in and how close wells are to each other you will see a combination of well group icons
and individual well icons
Clicking on a group icon will give information on the first 3 wells in the group plus how many more wells are within the group if any more.
Zooming in breaks up the group points into more group points and/or individual well points. There may not be any well or group points at the exact same location as the group point from the previous zoom level from which they derived. This is because the position of a group point is based upon an average location of all the wells contained in that group.
As you zoom in there should be more individual well points but even when you reach the maximum zoom level there may still be a few group points. This is because our database does not currently resolve all wells to their exact location but only to the best latitude and longitude that we can derive based upon the PLSS data we have for it. In many cases these are really the same well. We are working to consolidate our data to eliminate duplicates and this will get better as time goes on.
County and Township Lines
County lines are turned on by default. You can turn them off by unchecking the County checkbox. Clicking on the map will usually bring up a text bubble with the county name. This can interfere with Google Map's default behavior of centering and zooming into the point where you double click. Simply uncheck County to re-enable this feature. You can turn the county lines back on at any time by checking the County checkbox.
Check the Township checkbox to turn on township lines. Clicking within a township will sometimes bring up the township location but be sure County lines are turned off first as they usually take precedence. We are working on better ways to display location information.
We will be adding more and more features to our mapping interface as time goes on.
